Women’s Soccer Falls to Hastings, 3-0

HASTINGS, Neb. - The William Woods University women's soccer team fell to Hastings University 3-0 this evening. The loss moves the Owls to 3-2-1 on the season. 
 
Hastings scored the first goal of the game with only 12 minutes on the clock, 1-0. 
 
With the clock hitting the 38th minutes mark, the Owls missed a PK followed by two unsuccessful shots on goal.
 
In the 67th minute, Hastings scored their second goal of the game, and they added one more in the 80th minute.
 
The Owls were unable to get a shot off in the second half, finishing the match with just four shots.
 
Belle Boschert (2-1-1) played 90 minutes in goal and made eight saves.
 
Next on the schedule for the Owls is a road game versus University of Saint Mary (Kan.) on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 5 p.m.
