FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's soccer team dropped to undefeated Harris-Stowe State University Saturday afternoon, 1-0. The Owls fall to 4-3-1 on the season while starting conference play 0-1.
The Owls outshot HSSU 13-9 with six shots on goal, but in the 77
th minute Harris-Stowe scored on an own goal.
Michyla Handley (0-2) made three saves through her 90 minutes in between the posts.
Next up for the Owls is No. 12 Columbia on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 3 p.m.
