LINCOLN, Ill. – The William Woods University softball team swept Lincoln College Sunday afternoon. The Owls took a 5-2 victory in the first game, and then grabbed a 6-0 win. The team improves to 13-10 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
"Anytime you have a shutout defensively you are happy," stated Head Coach
Tracy Gastineau. "We made some good defensive plays today and Kalee had a really nice outing on the mound in game two. Mallory is seeing the ball extremely well and we are starting to see more quality at-bats throughout the lineup."
What is Next?
The Owls will have their home opener against NCAA Division III Westminster College in a doubleheader on Tuesday, Mar. 22. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.

Sarah Randermann (7-4) was credited with the win on the mound. She pitched 7.0 innings and struck out eight while allowing five hits and two runs.

The Owls grabbed a 6-0 win against Lincoln College.
Kalee Wall (2-2) took the win on the mound. She pitched 7.0 innings and struck out five while allowing four hits and no runs.
