FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University baseball team closed their three-game series with Harris-Stowe State University with a pair of wins Saturday afternoon. The team improves to 18-11 overall and 6-3 in conference play.

Game One
The Owls took a 5-2 win over Harris-Stowe.

• Marcus Gonzalez went 3 for 4. He scored one run and recorded two RBIs.
• Alex Owens went 1 for 3. He recorded one RBI.
• Tyklen Salmons and Vincent Pyeatt scored one run each.
• Easton Wallace went 1 for 3 and scored one run.
• Alex Wimer 3 for 3. He scored one run and had one RBI.
• Jack Niggemeier recorded one RBI.
• Jordan Smith went 1 for 3.
• Zach Krause went 1 for 2.
• The Owls outhit the Hornets, 10-5.

Caleb Caraker (4-0) took the win on the mound. He pitched 5.0 innings and struck out four while allowing four hits and two runs.
 
Jackson Truesdell pitched 2.0 innings and struck out five while allowing one hit.

The Owls defeated Harris-Stowe, 9-1.

• Kamron Morriss went 3 for 4. He recorded one RBI.
• Vincent Pyeatt and Alex Wimer each scored one run.
• Isaiah Gibbs went 1 for 4. He scored two runs and had two RBIs.
• Alex Owens went 1 for 3 and scored one run.
• Jordan Smith went 3 for 4 with one homer. He scored two runs and recorded three RBIs.
• Easton Wallace went 1 for 4. He had two RBIs.
• Marcus Gonzalez went 2 for 4.
• Zach Krause went 1 for 3.
