LAMONI, Iowa. - Sophomore Michael Bhat tallied two goals on 3-2 loss of the William Woods University men's soccer team to Graceland University Saturday afternoon. The team moves to 0-1-1 on the season. 

Graceland grabbed the lead over the Owls with 22 minutes on the clock, 1-0. 

The Owls had four shots on goal on the first period but were unable to find the back of the net, going into halftime trailing 1-0.

With 5:48 of the second period, Graceland extended their lead to 2-0 against the Owls. 

However, three minutes later Bhat scored his first goal of the day for the Owls assisted by Emilio Ruiz to cut the deficit to 2-1. 

Graceland scored another game to increase their lead to 3-1. 

Chais Paul passed the ball to Bhat who once again scored for the Owls and the final goal of the game.

Iker Gonzalez took the loss on the goal. He played 90 minutes in between posts and made eight stops. 

The Owls return home on Monday, Aug. 29 vs. Evangel at 7 p.m. for their home opener.
