NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The No. 6 William Woods University men's tennis team went 2-0 on the weekend at their home invite. The Owls swept both No. 15 St. Thomas University and No. 20 Oakland City University, 4-0.
The Owls improve to 10-3 on the season with a three-match win streak.

- The Owls won the doubles point as all three doubles pulled out the wins.
- Patrick Shelepov finished his singles first, winning 6-1, 6-2.
- Zinovii Nahirniak put the Owls up 3-0 with his 6-0, 6-4 win in the three singles.
- Vaclav Schneider grabbed the clinch point in the one singles, 6-4, 7-6 (2).

The Owls host Newman University on Wednesday, March 15, at approximately 3:30 p.m.
