BENTON, Ill.– The William Woods University archery team continued to make its mark early in the 2025–26 campaign, delivering an astounding performance at the 3D Archery USA Regionals in Benton, Illinois. The Owls earned an USA Archery 3D Nationals Qualifiying bid with their performance.
In the Male Compound division, Garret Crocker led the way for the Woods with an impressive score of 423, earning an 11th-place finish. On the women's side, Kylie Hayes shot a steady 410 to take 8th place in the Female Compound class.
The Fixed Pin group proved to be one of the team's deepest categories, led by Caleb Hayes, who placed 9th with a 414, and Tyler Winslett, who posted a 390 for 17th place. Among the women, Emma Agers paced the Owls with a 6th-place finish on a 379, followed by Abigail Ford in 9th (369), Leah Grantham in 15th (331), and Marena Tellman in 18th (312)—each contributing to a well-rounded team performance.
In Female Barebow, Ella Hinson notched a 5th-place finish with a 309, narrowly edging teammate Paige Potteiger, who finished 6th with a 307
