ALTON, Ill. – The William Woods University Women's Golf team traveled to Alton, Illinois, to compete in the Missouri Baptist Fall Invitational, looking to build on their recent success. Entering the event, the Owls had posted three straight top-three finishes, including a tournament victory, and aimed to continue their strong form.
Despite challenging weather conditions throughout the tournament, the Owls battled to secure a second-place finish at the Missouri Baptist Fall Invitational. Pilar Ariaudo led the way for Woods, carding a +1 on the final day to finish +10 overall. Haley Baskett and Jazmin Usandizaga added two steady rounds of golf to help solidify the Owls' runner-up position.
The Owls will look to carry their momentum into their next event as they continue the fall portion of their schedule.
