FULTON, Mo.- William Woods men's tennis continues on their hot streak, having won their sixth match in a row. This time, the Owls bested Concordia (Neb.) by a score of 4-2 at the Suzanne Neal Memorial Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.

The Woods took the early match lead with stellar doubles play. The top pairing of Noah Burton and Duarte Melo cashed out on an amazing sequence to close out a 6-4 win over the Bulldogs. Jesper Seger and Cole Horton continue their grouping's hot streak, winning their matchup with Ben Chisholm and Jugo Fuentes by a score of 6-3 to clinch the doubles point.

In singles, the Owls commanded the day as they won three of the five matches played to take the win. Melo led the team from the top spot with a come from behind win against his opponent. William Woods fell short in #2 and #3 singles before picking up their third point in #4 singles as Thomas Guekemeijer bested his opponent in a match that went the distance. In #5 singles, Tomas Guadagni sat his opponent down in straight sets to cement the William Woods win at 4-2.

The Owls return to the court next weekend for College Tennis Weekend and Senior Day as they host Midland University.
