SALINA, Kan.– William Woods golf started their fall season at the Carmichael Cup hosted by Kansas Wesleyan. Both men's and women's teams finished third in their respective pools, with Euan Hardie earning third-place honors.
On the men's side, WWU (A) placed third with a score of three under on the two-day event. Hardie led the way, followed by Alfred Goransson, Jackson Tait, Victor Vella and Vilmer Jonsson. The WWU (B) team followed just behind the 'A' squad with Mitchell Redmayne leading the pack and an eighth-place overall finish.
Men's Results
William Woods women's golf third-place finish was capped by an excellence performance from Josie Arms who earned a T-7th place finish overall. Jazmin Usandizaga, Kylie Miller, Morgan Crist and Addison Hentz rounded out the team for The Owls, each finishing in the top 60% of the field.
Women's Results
The Owls return to the course next week at the Missouri Valley University Invitiationl in Marshall.
