Earned his second straight First-Team All-AMC selection after posting a 6-3 record with a 2.85 ERA … Became the school’s all-time leader in wins on April 12 with seven shutout innings against Williams Baptist … Collected 56 strike outs in 60 innings … Struck out a season-high nine batters on Mar. 16 against Harris-Stowe and again on April 12 against Williams Baptist … Appeared in 11 games with 10 starts … Won four of his first five starts on the year and posted 1.49 ERA during the stretch … Selected to the Academic All-AMC team.
2012First team All-AMC honoree as a starting pitcher... Started 13 games on the mound for the Owls... Led William Woods in wins with eight, dropping just one decision on the year... Posted a 2.63 ERA on the year... Struck out 90 batters in 68.1 innings... Threw five complete games with one shutout... Held opposing batters to a .209 batting average, giving up just one homerun in 301 batters faced... Two-time AMC Pitcher of the Week selection, earning the award in back-to-back weeks (April 3, 2012 and March 26, 2012).
2011Named the AMC Freshman Pitcher of the Year, also earning honorable mention All-AMC accolades... Named AMC Pitcher of the Week for April 18, 2011... Started 12 games his rookie year with William Woods... Posted a 5-3 record with a 4.15 ERA... Struck out 62 batters in 52 innings... Threw one shutout on the year... Held opposing hitters to a .205 batting average.
High SchoolSelected to three all-conference and all-district teams during his four years at Southern Boone High School... Selected to the 2009 Missouri All-State team... Led his team to a conference championship.
