Van Klohmann enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for the Men’s Basketball program.
Prior to joining the Owls coaching staff, Klohmann was an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach for the Westminster College Blue Jays, in Fulton Missouri. While at Westminster, he helped lead the team to a 14-12 record and a fourth place finish in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Conference. Before Westminster, Klohmann graduated in 2017 from the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he earned a Bachelors in Secondary Social Studies Education.
While at the University of Missouri, Klohmann worked with the Ladue Horton Watkins High School Basketball program in St. Louis; helping with player development, summer workouts and scouting. He also worked with the University of Missouri Club basketball team and refereed youth basketball.
He graduated from the Ladue Horton Watkins High School where he lettered in Basketball and Soccer.
Klohmann is currently pursuing his Masters of Education in Athletic Administration.
