Kyle Hutson enters his second season as an assistant coach for the William Woods University men's soccer team. He will be primarily responsible for working with the goalkeepers.
Hutson was a member of the College of Charleston's men's squad, but has local roots. The St. Louis, Mo., native was a four-year standout at Lindbergh High School, earning first team all-conference honors in 2007.
At the club level, he played extensively for the prestigious St. Louis Scott Gallagher Soccer Club. While with Scott Gallagher, he led the team to a USYSA Region II championship and a third-place finish at USYSA Nationals in 2006. The squad also captured six Missouri state championships.
He is pursuing his MBA with a Health Management emphasis at William Woods.
