Chloe Shell enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Owls softball program. Shell, a 2015 graduate, comes to William Woods from Bluffton University in Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management and Minor in Business. She will once again primarily work with the pitchers.Â
While at Bluffton she led the Beavers to four straight HCAC final four conference tournaments.
Shell is second in Bluffton history for career wins (43), second in shutouts (10) and games started (82). She amassed 460.1 innings in her four years (fourth in school history) and was a part of one of the winning-est senior classes with 95 wins.
Shell will pursue a Masters in Athletic Administration while at William Woods.
