Hannah Tavik

Hannah Tavik enters her first season as a Graduate Assistant for the Owls Softball program following her four years at Frostburg State University where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise and Sports Science.

Tavik was a four-year starting member of the softball team at Frostburg State, which is located in Western Maryland. While at Frostburg she was selected as a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Third Team All-American during the 2015-16 season. During her senior season Tavik become the career hits leader with 201 hits finishing her career with a total of 220 hits.

During her time with the Bobcats, Tavik was a selection for the CAC All Conference Second Team three times, and to the First Team once. As well as, the NFCA All-Region Second Team as a junior and the ECAC South Team as a senior.
Tavik finished her career with a batting average of .435 (220 for 481), had 44 wins and 22 losses in the circle, 352 strike outs, 153 RBIs at the plate, and 154 games started for the FSU Bobcats.

Tavik will work primarily with pitchers at WWU while obtaining her master’s degree in Athletic/Activities Administration.
