Ilissa Facchini is in her second year as an assistant coach for the William Woods University softball team.
She recently completed a two-year playing career at William Woods, where she played a vital role to help the Owls win the 2013 American Midwest Conference Tournament championship. While at WWU, Facchini was selected to the 2012 First-Team All-AMC squad and followed that up with a Second-Team All-AMC selection during her senior year.
Prior to William Woods, the Tulare, Calif., native was a two-time all-conference player at College of the Sequoias.
Facchini graduated from William Woods in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies. She will be pursuing a masters in Athletic Administration at WWU.
