Diego Vargas

Diego Vargas enters his first year as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Owls Tennis Program.
 
He was born and raised in Lima, Peru and started playing tennis at the age of 10 years old and continue doing so competitively throughout high school, representing Jockey Club del Peru during inter-club tournaments and gaining a national ranking in Peru. He played varsity tennis at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. Vargas coached at Jockey Club del Peru and at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida
