Amy Angelos is in her second season as an assistant coach for the William Woods University volleyball program.
Angelos, a Waukegan, Illinois, native, is a 2014 graduate from Bradley University, where she accumulated numerous seasonal awards. During the 2013 season alone, Angelos was named to the All-Missouri Valley College (MVC) second team, named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete honorable mention team, was the Omaha Marriott Classic Tournament Most Valuable Player and was named to the CEFCU Classic and the Billiken Challenge All-Tournament team.
She finished her career at Bradley with 1,124 kills, which ranks her eighth on the all-time list and is one of four players in school history to have 250 or more kills in each season. Angelos is also one of seven individuals in school history with 1,100 career kills, 40 aces and 250 or more blocks.
Other awards Angelos nabbed in four seasons with the Braves include, being named to the North Carolina Central Invitational All-Tournament team (2012), Costal Carolina Classic All-Tournament team (2011), Akron Invitational All-Tournament team (2011) and the Maryland Invitational All-Tournament team (2010).
While at William Woods, she will be pursuing a master’s degree in Athletic Administration.
