Daisy Cheek enters her first year as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Owls volleyball team.
Originally from Canyon, Texas, Cheek I started playing volleyball at eight years old. She earned a full scholarship to Dodge City Community College straight out of high school. While at DCCC, Cheek was the starting setter and played a full six rotations.
From Dodge, she continued her career at Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn. While there, she unfortunately tore her ACL for the third time and was forced into retirement.
She graduated from West Texas A&M where she studied sports and exercise science in 2019, while also coaching club and being a high school JV coach at San Jacinto Christian Academy.
Cheek is pursuing her Masters in athletic administration.
