Jaden McBride enters her second season as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the William Woods University volleyball team.
Prior to joining the Owls Coaching Staff, McBride spent her freshman and sophomore year at the University of Louisville. She was recruited as a Defensive Specialists for the University of Louisville and the Cardinals won the 2012 Big East Regular Season and Conference Championships as a freshman. They had a record of 30-4 and advances to the second round of the NCAA tournament. In 2013, The Cardinals went 23-7 and claimed the American Athletic Conference Championship.
In 2014, McBride transferred to McKendree University. With the Bearcats, McBride helped McKendree make history as they advanced to the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship match and advanced to the NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Tournament.
Along with being a former player, McBride has spent time as a Club coach. She has coached the 12’s club team for KIVA. She also worked two years working with the 17UA team for H2 in St. Louis. In 2016, McBrides’ 17UA Club Volleyball team claimed the gold medal at the St. Louis President’s Day Championship going undefeated in the tournament.
While at William Woods, McBride will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration.
