Kelli Trautmann

Kelli Trautmann enters her first season as an assistant coach for the William Woods University volleyball team.
 
Prior to joining William Woods, Trautmann was the assistant volleyball and track and field coach at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Her responsibilities was recruiting, day to day operations, scouting for both sports, directing volleyball lessons and camps. She assisted Millsaps with becoming first in NCAA III in digs per set. Before assisting at Millsaps, Trautmann was the head volleyball, assistant J.V basketball and head throws coach for track and field at Waterford Union High School in Wisconsin.
 
Trautmann comes to William Woods after a successful career at UW-Whitewater in both volleyball and track and field. Trautmann ranks fifth in the UW-Whitewater record book for digs per match with 36 digs. She played nine matches where she had more than 20 digs. She was named to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Sportsmanship and All-Defensive Team in 2010 and 2011, respectively. The defensive specialist made four NCAA Division-III national tournament appearances, where she was a part of a WIAC Conference Championship and two WIAC Conference Tournament Championships for volleyball.  She was a WIAC conference qualifier for shot and discus for the indoor and outdoor seasons (2009-2010) she was also named to the Academic Honor Roll.
 
Trautmann graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in education: physical education with an emphasis on health, human performance and recreation and a minor in athletic coaching.
 
While at William Woods, she will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Athletic Administration
