Monica Herschelman

Monica Herschelman became the William Woods University head volleyball coach during the spring of 2011. She is the ninth women's volleyball coach at William Woods.  The program was founded in 1974.

She served as an assistant women’s volleyball coach at NCAA Division I Bradley University prior to her time at WWU. Her responsibilities included day-to-day operations of the volleyball program including primary setter coach, recruiting, academic monitoring and assisting with camps. Bradley is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference located in Peoria, Ill.

Herschelman has also been very active in volleyball club coaching. She spent six seasons working for the 1st Alliance (Chicago, Ill.), Hamilton-Sussex (Hamilton, Wis.) and Milwaukee Sting (Milwaukee, Wis.) volleyball club teams.

Coach Herschelman played intercollegiate volleyball at NCAA Division I Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. She served as a team captain and completed her playing career in the programs top 10 in assists, digs and hitting percentage. She was named second team All-Big East and made the conference Academic Honor Roll in 2006. She resides in Fulton, Mo. with her husband Daniel.
