Taylor Masterson enters her first season as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the William Woods University volleyball team.
Prior to joining the Owls Volleyball Staff, Masterson was a member of the Southeast Missouri State University Volleyball Team. During the 2012 season for the Red Hawks, Masterson was named to the Ohio Valley Conference All-Newcomer Team. In 2013 she led the Ohio Valley Conference in blocks with 1.09 blocks per set. During her junior season, Masterson was named First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference and was second and Southeast Missouri State in kills (285) and kills per set (2.48). She led the Ohio Valley Conference with a .351 kill percentage. She received her degree in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State.
Besides playing, Masterson spent the 2016 year as the Head Coach for the Perryville Volleyball Club 13’s team and was an assistant coach for the 16s team. She also helped Southeast Missouri State with Summer Volleyball camps from 2011-2015.
While at William Woods, Masterson will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration.
