Hart, William Woods first ever racewalk participant, set the bar for the track and field program. As a sophomore the runner earned NAIA All-American Honors in both the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships and the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships finishing in the top ten (6th) in both events.
