(MARSHALL, Mo, Sept. 16)--The William Woods University women's soccer team had its four-match winning streak snapped on Thursday at Missouri Valley College. The Vikings defeated the Owls 3-2.

The Owls received goals from junior Anne Weaver (St. Charles, Mo.) and freshman Amy Faus (Waterloo, Ill.).

With the match tied at two, Missouri Valley College scored the game-winning goal with three minutes remaining.

WWU (4-2) will return to action on September 19. The Owls will travel to Culver-Stockton college. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 pm.
