The William Woods University women's soccer team will look to continue its run in the AMC Tournament this afternoon as they visit no. 2 seed Hannibal-LaGrange University. Kickoff for the semi-final match is set for 1 p.m. at Blackwell Field in Hannibal, Mo.
WWU is coming off a rousing win in its first round match as the Owls downed Benedictine University-Springfield 6-1. The Owls split the regular-season series with the Trojans; WWU posted a 2-0 win in Hannibal on the strength of goals from
Stephanie Kirvan (Sunrise Beach, Mo.) and
Brittany Graue (St. Louis, Mo.), while HLG eked out a 1-0 win at Firley Field.
The winner will advance to the AMC Championship on Thursday, November 10.
