The Owls are coming off a 3-0 loss to visiting Missouri Valley College on September 10. Missouri Valley (3-1-1) took a 1-0 lead into the half on a goal from Breann Kinworthy. The Vikings added two more goals in the second half en route to the victory.
MVC outshot the Owls 24-7 for the match. The Vikings put 13 shots on goal. William Woods had one shot on goal.
Kelsey Sanders (Jefferson City, Mo.) led the Owls with four shot attempts.

CMU enters tonight's match 6-0 on the season. The Eagles are coming off a 2-1 overtime victory over Northwestern College on September 10.
The Owls and Eagles played to a 1-1 double overtime tie last season. The last two meetings between the two schools have gone to double overtime. William Woods lead the all-time series between the two schools 17-6-2.
