The William Woods University women's soccer team will host a pair of matches on Firley Field this weekend. The Owls open American Midwest Conference play Friday at 7 pm versus Benedictine University-Springfield. WWU will host University of the Ozarks at 1 pm on Saturday.

Benedictine University-Springfield is a new member to the American Midwest Conference. Friday is the season opener for the Bulldogs. This is the first meeting between the two schools.
The University of the Ozarks opens its season September 1 with a 3-1 home victory against Central Baptist College. The Eagles are an NCAA DIII institution and a member of the American Southwest Conference. This is the first meeting between the two schools.
After Back-to-back matches, the Owls will not return to the pitch until September 8. WWU will host Culver-Stockton College at 7 pm.
