The Owls are coming off a 4-2 loss to visiting Concordia University (Neb.). J.P. Parra scored both goals in the match. For his early season efforts, he was named the American Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Parra has six goals and two assists in three matches thus far. WWU enters tonight's match 2-1 on the season, and 1-0 in the AMC.
Culver-Stockton enters tonight's match 0-2 on the year. They opened the season with back-to-back 1-0 losses to Spalding University and St. Ambrose University.
The Owls and Wildcats met once last season. CSC defeated the Owls 2-1 in Canton, Mo. Parra scored the lone goal for the Owls in the loss. The all-time series between the two schools is tied 4-4-1.
William Woods will return to action September 10. The Owls travel to Iowa Wesleyan College. Kick-off is scheduled for 2 pm in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
