FULTON, Mo. -- Katie Shikles gave the William Woods University women's soccer team a 1-0 lead, but that would be all the Owls would get as they were defeated by Culver-Stockton College 8-1 on Tuesday night.

Culver-Stockton (4-1) scored the equalizer in the 16th minute as Stephanie Adelmann scored her fifth goal of the year. The Lady Wildcats needed just four minutes to get on the board in the second half, as Kira McGrotty found the back of the net to give Culver-Stockton the 4-1 lead.
