Central Methodist University (5-3) has won four of its last five game, including a 6-2 win over Tabor College its last time out. Tuesday's match will be the fifth match for CMU against an American Midwest Conference team, as the Lady Eagles are an even 2-2 against the AMC, with wins against Stephens College (16-2) and Hannibal-LaGrange (5-2). The two losses came against Columbia College (5-0) and Missouri Baptist (1-0).
The Lady Eagles are a high scoring bunch, as they rank sixth in the nation in goals with 32. Nicki Noreen's seven goals leads the team, as she ranks 38th in the nation in goals.
William Woods leads the all-time series 17-8-2, yet Central Methodist scored the 3-2 victory last season at Firley Field. The Owls haven't defeated the Lady Eagles since the 2008 season, when they scored the 3-1 in Fayette, though the two played to a 1-1 tie in 2010. Â
