With 29:59 left in the half, Louis-Jacques found Moscatello, who beat Bryce Deaton, for the Owls first goal of the game.

The Owls lead lasted 10 minutes as the Mustangs scored the equalizer. Oscar Martinez found Callum Morris, who found the back of the net tying the game at 1-1.

After the match was tied at 1-1, the Owls continued to attack but could not get anything past Deaton. With 4:23 left in the half, Alves was taken down in the box and the Mustangs were called for the foul, giving the Owls a penalty kick. Alves beat Deaton putting the Owls ahead, 2-1.

Central Baptist answered right back to start the second half. On the first shot attempt of the half, Thomas Milner beat Jon Moore Jr. tying the match at 2-2. This would be the last time the game would be tied.

The Owls kept the pressure on and with just over 20 minutes to go in the contest, Louis-Jacques took a pass from Moscatello giving the Owls the lead 3-2. Three minutes later the Mustangs failed to clear a ball and Moscatello took the ball and found the back of the net extending the Owls lead to 4-2.

Central Baptist scored one more goal with 1:34 left in the game as Morris scored his second goal of the game cutting the Owls lead down to one, 4-3. That would be as close as the Mustangs got in the game as the Owls came away with a 4-3 victory.
