Women's Soccer Hosts St. Louis Pharmacy Saturday

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University Women's Soccer finishes off their regular season play as they host St. Louis Pharmacy on Saturday, October 29 at 1 p.m. for their last AMC match.

Prior to the game on Saturday, the Owls will be honoring the senior members of the 2016 team.

About the Owls
- The Owls enter the matchup with an overall record of 7-7-2 and an AMC conference record of 6-4-1. On Thursday, the Owls  tied Harris-Stowe State University, 0-0
- Rebecca Sturgess leads the Owls in saves and also ranks her at 50th in the nation with 84 saves on the season
- As a team, the Owls have recorded seven shutouts on the season, which is the 37th most in the NAIA this season.
- Halle Schroeder leads the Owls in points with 11, which includes five goals and one assist. Her season-high was earning five points against Stephens, where she collected two goals and one assist
- Alex Langford leads the Owls in assists with a total of five on the season, three of them earned against Central Baptist
- The Owls are averaging 14.13 shots per game, which is the seventh most in the NAIA

- The Eutectics enter the match with an overall record of 2-12-1 with an AMC record on 0-10-1
- In the last game for St. Louis Pharmacy, they tied Stephens College, 3-3, to earn its first point in the AMC this season.
- Emily Nickels leads the Eutectics in saves with 98 on the season, placing her at 33rd in the nation and averages 6.53 saves per game, which is 37th best in the nation.
- Katelynn Pike and Morgan Geissler lead the team in goals with three apiece
- Rachel Haug leads in assists with two on the season and has scored two goals to score six points on the season, the second highest on the team.

The Owls will wait until the American Midwest Conference office announces the AMC Women's Soccer Championship bracket to see who they will place next. The AMC Quarterfinals start on November 4th.
