Volleyball Plays Park Friday in AMC Semifinals

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The William Woods University Volleyball team continues their run in AMC Postseason play as they play Park University in the AMC Semifinals. WWU and Park play at 4 p.m. at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Previously
- The Owls lost to Park on November 3rd in three, (25-19, 25-12, 25-19)
- No. 6 Park out hit the Owls 45-22 and also had seven aces compared to Owls three
- Both teams tied in blocks with four a piece
- Libby Dove and Stephanie Davis led the team in kills with five, Victoria Day followed with four kills in the night

About the Owls
- The Owls enter the semifinals with an overall record of 21-13 with their last win being over Lindenwood-Belleville in three sets (25-23, 25-19, 25-22) in the AMC Quarterfinals
- Victoria Day leads the Owls in kills with 366 in the season. Day also has 344 digs in the season
- In the last match against Lindenwood-Belleville, Stephanie Davis recorded her 303rd block assist, which is the new record for most block assists in a career
- Brittney Engelbrecht continues to add to her career assists, sitting at 1207 for this season. Engelbrecht continues to move closer to 4000 career assists. She currently has 3863 assists in her career at William Woods
- Freshman Jessica Jensen leads the Owls in digs with 605 in the season. Jensen is the only Owls player over 400 digs on the season
