Prior to William Woods
Last season she played at Culver-Stockton College where she played last season and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention. Prior to Culver-Stockton, Day was at Ashford University where she was named 2013 Association of Independent Institutions Freshman of the Year, First Team All-A.I.I. and AVCA Southwest Region Freshman of the Year. During her sophomore year at Ashford, Day was named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Tournament.
 
High School
Was a two-time All-Fox Valley Conference Team selection…garnered Northwest Herald All-Area Honorable Mention honors following her senior season…led Crystal Lake Central High School to the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 3A "Super 16," before bowing out to the eventual Class 3A runners-up…was named the team's most valuable player following the season.
