Women’s Soccer Plays at Lindenwood-Belleville In AMC Quarterfinals Friday

BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The William Woods University Women's Soccer team begins postseason action in the AMC Quarterfinal against Lindenwood-Belleville on Friday November 4th at 6 p.m. at Lindenwood-Belleville. The two teams will be fighting to move on to AMC semifinals on Monday November 7th.

THE LAST MEETING
- In the last matchup between these two teams the Lynx defeated the Owls 1-0. Raven Loughridge scored the game-winning-goal off a corner kick in the second half for the Lynx
- The Lynx outshot the Owls 24-4 for the contest and 15-4 shots on goal
- The Owls had a total of 15 saves in comparison to the Lynx four
- Elyssa Cappaert led the Owls with two shots in the contest

ABOUT THE OWLS
- After the matchup with the Lynx, the Owls went 7-1-1 to close out the regular season
