FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University Women's Soccer team opens up its American Midwest Conference opener when they host Missouri Baptist University on Tuesday, September 13th at Firley Field. Kick-off is set for 5 p.m.

About the Owls
- William Woods ranks 23rd in the nation with 38 saves on the season. Leading the way for the Owls is Sophomore Rebecca Sturgess who has 35 saves and ranks 22nd in the nation.
-WWU is averaging 7.6 saves per game, 37th best in the nation, led by Sturgess who is averaging 7.0 saves per game, 30th best in the NAIA
- Renee Meyer and Shelby Wiebe led the Owls with a goal each on the season
