Game Flow
The Owls wasted little time scoring in the first half, as Rodrigo Alves, the AMC Offensive Player of the Week, beat Cameron Metcalfe for the first goal of the contest. Alves popped a shot over Metcalfe one minute and 30 second into the contest.

Jesse Bowers looked to add to the Owls lead as he fired a shot that went wide. About ten minutes later, Jesse Jordan fired a shot from the top of the box that hit the post.

Central Methodist looked to tie the game at 1-1 with 26:45 left in the half as Adrian Gutierrez fired a shot that Conor Cable saved. Gutierrez took a shot a few minutes later but the shot went wide.

William Woods had another opportunity to score in the first half as Anthony Moscatello took a shot on goal that looked as if it was going to find the back of the net, however, an Eagle defender came out of nowhere and made the team save.

Central Methodist tied up the game with 9:38 left as Oliver Korngor took a pass from Vitor Mala and beat Cable tying the match at 1-1. The Owls and Eagles would go into halftime by that very score.

Alves looked as if he was going to strike quickly in the second half, just like the first half, as he got past the defense and fired a shot on goal 57 seconds into the second half. Metcalfe recorded the save keeping it a tie game. Alves fired another shot toward the goal, four minutes later, but the shot missed high.

After Alves shot went high, the momentum slowly started to switch as the Eagles had more opportunities on the offensive end. Within a 45 second spurt, the Eagles Elvis Barclay and Laim Pescott both fired shots wide of goal.

Lendell Louis-Jacques tried to put the Owls back on top with around 19:30 left in the game but his shot was saved by Metcalfe.

Central Methodist scored its second goal of the contest with eight minutes remaining in the game. After Gutierrez shot went off the post, Jackson Darnell followed it up by beating Cable.
