FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's soccer team opens a four game homestand on Tuesday, October 10th when they host No. 5 Columbia College. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
 
About the Owls
- The Owls enter the contest with an 8-4-1 overall record and 5-1-1 record in the AMC
- WWU is coming off a 5-0 win at Saint Louis College of Pharmacy (Mo.) on Saturday. In the contest, the Owls outshot the Eutectics 27 to 1
-  Over the last five games for the Owls, they are 4-0-1
- William Woods ranks 10 in the nation in total assists with 34.
- The Owls also rank 11 in the NAIA in total shutouts with seven.
-  Shelby Scanlan leads the Owls in goals scored. She is ranked 11 in the NAIA in goals with 14 and ranks eighth in game winning goals with four
- Along with Scanlan, Aurora Henriksen ranks number 27 in the NAIA in total points (27) and ranks number 44 in total goals (10)
 
About the Cougars
- The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 13-0-0 overall record and 7-0-0 record in the AMC
- Columbia College is coming off a 1-0 win against University of Jamestown (N.D) on Saturday, Oct. 7
-The Cougars come to William Woods ranked number 5 in the Women's Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll
- Columbia College ranks number one in total goals with 64, shutouts per game with a 0.850 average, shots per game with a 14.4, and total shutouts with 11.
-  Laurie Frew ranks second in total points (45) and first in total game winning goals in NAIA (6)
- Frew has scored 18 goals on the season for the Cougars and dished out nine assists, both team-highs for Columbia

- The Owls play a home game against the Scots of Lyon College on Saturday, October 14 at 1 p.m. at Firley Field.
