Women's Soccer Hosts Hannibal-LaGrange Tuesday

FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University women's soccer team hosts American Midwest Conference match against Hannibal-LaGrange University on Tuesday, September 19, at 7 p.m. at Firley Field.
 
About the Owls
- The Owls are currently 4-4 overall and 1-1 in the AMC
- WWU is coming off a 2-1 overtime loss to Missouri Baptist in the AMC Game of the Week on Saturday
- As a team, the Owls are 11th in shutouts. The Owls have four shutouts on the season
- William Woods is ranked 30th in assists with 14 assists on the season. Four Owls are holding two assists apiece
- Aurora Henriksen holds three offensive rankings two of which are in the top 25. Henriksen is 16th with two game winning goals and 25th in total goals with seven on the season
- Rebecca Sturgess is 48th in total saves with 33 on the season, a season high of eight saves against Benedictine, Central Methodist, and Missouri Baptist

About the Trojans
- The Trojans are 3-5 overall and 1-1 in the AMC
- Hannibal-LaGrange is coming off a 1-0 victory over Williams Baptist
- The Trojans are seventh in total saves with 65 saves on the season
- Madi Allen is ranked fifth in the NAIA collecting 64 saves for the Trojans recording 18 saves alone against Missouri Baptist
- The Trojans are ranked 22nd in assists with 16 on the season. Nicole Paisini and Maria Monteiro holding four assists apiece placing them 28th in the NAIA
- Maci Cotler is ranked top 25 in six offensive categories. Cotler is ranked fourth in total goals with 11 on the season and is ranked seventh in points with 24 points

The Owls will travel to Conway, Arkansas to participate in an AMC matchup against Central Baptist College with kickoff at 5 p.m.
