About the Owls
-The Owls enter the contest with a 6-4-1 overall record and 3-1-1 in AMC
-WWU is coming off a double-overtime 1-1 draw at Williams Baptist College on Monday. In the contest, the Owls outshot the Eagles, 35-11
-William Woods ranks sixth in the nation in shutouts as they have six on the season.
-WWU ranks eighth in the nation assists with 28
-Leading the Owls in goals scored this season is
Shelby Scanlan with 10. Scanlan ranks 18th in goals scored in the NAIA
-Following Scanlan in scoring is freshman
Aurora Henriksen, who has nine goals on the season. Henriksen is ranked 24th in the nation
-Four different Owls have a team-high three assists on the season.

About the Lynx
-The Lynx enter the contest with a record of 3-5 and 2-1 in the AMC
-Lindenwood-Belleville have won its last three contests. In the last contest, they defeated Park University, 3-0, who was receiving votes in the last NAIA Coaches' Poll
-The Lynx scored a season-high six goals against Lyon on September 23
-Jasmine Smith leads the Lynx in goals scored this season with five. Her teammate, Casey Wood, follows with three goals scored
-Emily Fox leads the Lynx on the season with five assists
-Lindenwood-Belleville has taken 77 shots on the season while they have given up 135
-Alondra Balderrama lead the Lynx in goal as she has 42 saves on the season and one shutout
-Jasmine Smith leads the Lynx with 20 shots on the season
ALS Awareness Day
Saturday at Firley Field is ALS Awareness Day. The Owls women's soccer team will be honoring Russ Beck. Russ was a "soccer dad" in the Joplin, Missouri area. He sadly lost his life to ALS this year.
What's Next
The Owls return to the road following the home game against the Lynx. WWU will travel to St. Louis, Missouri to face St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Saturday, October 7. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m.
