FULTON, Mo. – William Woods University Men's Soccer captured their third overall win and second AMC win over Harris-Stowe Saturday afternoon as they defeated the Hornets 4-3.
Billy Nzojyibwami and
Jagan Crane both scored two goals in the contest.

th when they travel to St. Louis, Mo. to take on the St. Louis Pharmacy Eutectics. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m.
Game Flow
William Woods opened the contest very aggressive. Two minutes into the game,
Darren Wilson attempted to give the Owls their first points of the game, but his shot attempt was stopped by Hornets goalkeeper Nicholas Morales.
Harris-Stowe responded to the WWU attack by attempting back-to-back shots from Marcos Silva and Hugo Tarrida that were both saved by
Iker Gonzalez.
Both William Woods and Harris-Stowe traded shot attempts but neither could find the back of the net.
Finally, after 41 minutes of action,
Logan Christopher was able to find Nzojyibwami for a goal to give WWU a 1-0 lead over HSSU.
The Hornets responded immediately to the Owl goal by scoring one of their own.
Each team attempted one final shot before the halftime horn went off leaving the game tied 1-1.
After losing a 1-0 lead late in the first half, the Owls returned from halftime in search of their next goal. Seventeen seconds into the half,
Alberto Pitarch found Nzojyibwami for his second goal of the game giving William Woods a 2-1 lead.
WWU eventually pushed their lead to 3-1 when Cambruzzi found Crane for his first goal of the contest.
With momentum on the Owls side, Harris-Stowe needed to act fast before the game got out of reach. They did just that; Tarrida was able to find Andrej Markesic for a Hornets goal putting them behind 3-2.
Markesic would score his second straight goal of the contest minutes later tying the game 3-3.
As momentum began to favor towards HSSU, William Woods forward Nzojyibwami found Crane for his second goal of the contest.
The Hornets attempted to tie the game but their shot attempt was stopped by the Gonzalez.
William Woods went on to win the contest 4-3.
