POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. – The William Woods University men's basketball team outscored College of the Ozarks 13-4 in the final four minutes of Wednesday night's game to win it 70-59. The Owls move to 7-5 on the season.
The Owls jump back into conference play with a road game at RV Central Baptist College on Thursday, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m.

Game Flow
The Owls took a 5-0 lead with back-to-back buckets from
Ian Hodges and
Andrew Nett, and the team held COFO from scoring until four minutes in.
Hodges' fast break lay-up following his steal put the Owls up by seven, and a three from Nett gave the Owls an eight-point lead with 13:31 on the clock, 14-6.
COFO cut the game to three with 11:36 on the clock, but
Noah Wurtz began a 14-0 run to take a 17-point Owls' lead with 8:51 left in the first half, 30-13.
The Owls maintained a double-digit lead until COFO closed out the first half with a 11-0 run, sending the teams into the locker room with the Owls holding just a three-point lead, 38-35.
Darius Yohe scored on the first possession of the second half, but COFO scored the next five to tie the game for the first time, 40-40.
Mike Robinson hit a three with 14:42 on the clock to put the Owls back on top, but COFO's Klay Barton scored the next four points to take their first lead of the game, 44-43.
Treshawn Gause hit a long jumper to take back the lead a little over a minute later, but COFO answered with their own to take the lead again.
The two teams traded buckets and the lead four more times until Nett hit back-to-back three-pointers to give the Owls a five-point lead with 5:47 to play, 57-52.
COFO brought the game to two points with 4:11 to play, but the Owls went on to outscore COFO 13-4 in the final four minutes with nine of those points coming from the foul line.
