FULTON, Mo. – William Woods University Women's Soccer returns to action Tuesday Sept. 17
th as they open American Midwest Conference action against Lindenwood-Belleville. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Firley Field.
About Lindenwood-Belleville
After back-to-back losses to Graceland University (0-1) and Bethel University (Tenn.) (0-7) the Lynx enter the contest 1-4 overall. They captured their only victory back in August when they defeated Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) 8-0.
As a team Lindenwood-Belleville currently holds three national rankings. They sit 17
th overall in goals allowed per game (4), 41
st overall in total saves (36) and 43
rd overall in saves per game (7).
Daniela Ruiz currently leads all Lynx goalkeepers with 20 total saves on the season.
Sandra Kisch, Erika Lloyd and Juliana Stratford lead LBU with two goals each on the season. Morgan Pace, Bri Darlage, Luiza Bueno and Clarie Gruenke each have one goal this year.
About William Woods
The Owls enter the contest coming off a 1-7 loss to RV Central Methodist. The loss to the Eagles marked the third game straight that WWU has lost. They currently sit at 1-5 overall but look to turn things around Tuesday with a victory over the Lynx.

th overall in the nation in goals allowed per game (4).
McKenzie Gourley is leading the Owls with two goals on the season.

Michyla Handley is also playing well for the Owls. She has tallied 21 saves in the four games she has appeared in.
History Between Lindenwood-Belleville and William Woods
The first match between the Lynx and the Owls was on Oct. 7, 2012 in which WWU won 3-1. Since then, they have met nine other times. William Woods currently holds a 6-4 series lead. They look to push the three game win streak to four tomorrow night.
