Box Score ATCHINSON, KAN. – William Woods University Women's Soccer suffered a 8-0 loss to No.5 Benedictine College (Kan.) Friday night. The Owls are now 1-3 overall.

Game Flow
The Ravens got things started early in the match. 5-minutes into the first half Emily Ambuul found the back of the net to give Benedictine a 1-0 lead. Moments later, Nicole Kelly attempted a shot on goal but it was stopped by the quick hands of WWU goalkeeper
Michyla Handley.
15-minutes into the first half, Kelly was able to connect on her second shot attempt and give BC a 2-0 lead over the Owls.They would score another goal 2-minutes later this time coming from Emma Strecker.
Halfway through the half, William Woods was finally able to record a shot.
McKenzie Gourley broke free and attempted a shot on goal, but it was saved by BC goalkeeper Ashley Rehagen. 30-seconds later Tayler LaPage attempted their second shot on goal but it would also be saved by the Ravens goalkeeper.
Neither team recorded another shot and Benedictine walked into halftime ahead 3-0.
After getting out to a quick start in the half, the Ravens opened the second half with the same energy. About 15-minutes into the half, Kelly recorded her second goal of the contest giving BC a 4-0 lead.
The Owls struggled to get anything off against the BC defense.
Benedictine would score four more goals in the half and win the contest 8-0.
