WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - The William Woods University men's soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to Williams Baptist University Saturday afternoon. The loss brings the Owls to 2-8 on the season with a 0-3 conference mark.

WBU scored just 42 seconds into the game. WBU's Jacobo Obradors scored two more times in the first half, recording a hat trick. They tallied five goals total in the first half.

In the 58th minute, the Owls capitalized on a penalty kick from Breck McGrail to put them on the board.

The Owls were able to fire off just five shots through the 90 minutes of play.

Ben Faherty (2-5) was credited with the loss in goal. He played 45 minutes in goal, allowing five goals while making two stops. Iker Gonzalez spent the second half of the game in goal and made five stops while allowing nothing to pass.
