FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's soccer team fell in overtime to Central Baptist College, 3-2. 
 
The Owls fall to 3-3 on the season with a 1-2 conference mark.
 
In the 43^rd minute, the Owls fouled in the box, giving CBC a penalty kick. They delivered to take a 1-0 lead. 
 
Just a minute and a half later, Lucio Prado Born found the feet of Gabriel Gonzalez who punched the ball into the left corner of the goal to even the score at 1-1 heading into halftime. 
 
Evan Filer gave the Owls a 2-1 lead in the 58^th minute as he found the back of the net.
 
In the 64^th minute, CBC evened the score.
 
Neither team was able to add to their score in the remaining regular time, sending the Owls into their first overtime game of the year.
 
With 1:46 left in overtime, CBC found the back of the net after two quick touches to win the game, 3-2.
 
Iker Gonzalez (1-2) played the entire game in goal. He recorded four saves. 
 
The team next faces Hannibal-LaGrange on Wednesday, March 17, at 1 p.m.
