Men’s Soccer Draws Against Harris-Stowe

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The William Woods University men's soccer team ended in a scoreless draw with Harris-Stowe State University Tuesday afternoon. The Owls are now 3-3-1 overall and 1-2-1 in AMC play.

During the 90 minutes of regulation, neither team were able to score a goal. The Owls had 19 shots while HSSU had 20 shots attempted.

In the first overtime, the Owls had no opportunity to score, while HSSU had six tries. In the second overtime, the Owls took two shots while HSSU fired off five more times.

Iker Gonzalez started between the posts and had six saves on the day. Ben Faherty came in at halftime and made nine stops.

The Owls were outshot by HSSU, 31-13.

The Owls will face Hannibal-LaGrange University in their last game of the regular season at Hannibal, Mo., on Saturday, April 3, at 2:00 p.m.
