Owls' Streak Snapped by No. 17 Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The William Woods University women's soccer team had their seven-game winning streak snapped by no. 17 Columbia College Tuesday evening. This 3-0 loss brings the Owls to 7-1 in conference play and 7-2 overall. 

No. 17 Columbia remains undefeated in conference play with a perfect 9-0 record to win conference.

With less than three minutes into the game, CC scored the only goal of the first half. CC found the back of the net two more times during the second period to win the game 3-0.

The Owls were out shot by CC, 16-6.

Michyla Handley (3-1) played the entire game in goal. She recorded three saves. 

The Owls will host Williams Baptist University in their last game of the regular season on Saturday, Mar. 27, at 11 a.m.
