HANNIBAL, Mo. – The William Woods University men's soccer team closed their regular season with a loss to Hannibal-LaGrange University 7-0 Saturday afternoon.
Hannibal held a 5-0 lead after the first half. In the second half, Hannibal scored two more goals.
The Owls were not able to find the back of the net during the 90 minutes of regulation.
Ben Faherty started the game between the posts and had three saves.
Iker Gonzalez came in at halftime and made four stops.
The Owls will host Harris-Stowe State University in the opening round of the AMC Championship on Wednesday, Apr. 7, at 6 p.m.
